This update brings more control over your feed, better upload stability, and improved macOS support for accented characters.
Here’s what’s new
💬 Customize your “Following” feed – Choose to show all replies, only replies to people you follow, or no replies at all in your feed (Settings → Media and Content).
🔤 Accented letter support – You can now type and send accented characters like é, è, à, ù without issues on macOS.
🖼️ Improved large image uploads – We’ve made big uploads more stable and reliable.
🐛 Minor bug fixes – Small improvements to keep things running smoothly.

This update brings experimental chat support to iPad, new image viewer settings, and fresh keyboard shortcuts on macOS.
Here’s what’s new:
💬 Chats (iPad) – Pick up where you left off in any conversation started on Bluesky. You can view and continue chats right in the app. (Note : No push notifications yet ! We’re working on it. For now, you won’t get notified when a new message arrives.)
📤 Send post via DM – Tap the “...” on any post to share it directly in a private message.
🖼️ Image viewer background settings – Choose between a dimmed or opaque background when viewing an image in full screen. (This was a user suggestion, thanks for the feedback! :))
⌨️ New keyboard shortcuts (macOS) – ⌘ N lets you create a new post. Inside the post composer, use ⌘ ⏎ to post, ⌘ + to add a post to the thread, and Esc to close the window.

Direct messages (DMs) are now available on macOS!
Here’s what you can do
💬 Chats (DMs) – Pick up where you left off in any conversation started on Bluesky. You can view and continue chats right in the app.
📥 Chat requests – Accept or reject new incoming message requests.
😂 Message reactions – React to any message with emojis, exactly like on Bluesky!
🔔 Chat push notifications – Get notified when new messages or chat requests arrive while the app is open.
🚫 Block & mute controls – Easily block, mute, unblock, or unmute users, all within the chat interface.
😊 Emoji picker for posts – Easily browse and insert emojis while writing a post.
This update is macOS only. We’re working on bringing chats to iPad soon, and sending posts via DMs is on the way too!

One of our most requested features is finally here: feeds have landed in Dragonfly ! 🎉
What’s new?
🔍 Feed discovery – Explore and search for new feeds directly in the app. Whether you're into tech, cats, or chaos, you’ll find something for you. To preview a feed, simply click on it.
📌 Feed management – Pin your favorite feeds to your home screen, unpin the ones you don’t need, or remove them entirely. Total control.
✨ Improved scrolling – You can now scroll no matter where your cursor is on the window — no more needing to stay inside the content area.

What’s new?
🖼️ Link previews – When you add a link to a post, you’ll now see a preview image (OG image). You can choose to keep it or remove it before posting. If enabled, the preview will also appear in the published post.
🎥 Video settings – You can now control how videos behave in the app: toggle autoplay, loop, and default mute from Settings > Content and Media.

Fresh features, cleaner interface, and more control: 1.4.0 makes Dragonfly feel more refined than ever.
What’s new?
✅ Verification badges – Verified users and verifiers now have a badge next to their name. Prefer a cleaner look? You can hide badges in the app settings.
💬 @user suggestions – Typing “@” in a post now brings up user suggestions.
🔇 Mute words & tags – If you've muted hashtags or tag+word combos on Bluesky, Dragonfly will now respect those filters.
🚫 Manage block accounts – Easily view and manage your blocked accounts directly from the app settings.
🎬 Improved fullscreen video – The sidebar is now hidden in fullscreen, giving you a cleaner, more immersive viewing experience.
🐞 Bug fixes & performance improvements – As always, we’ve made things a little more stable and polished.

We’ve made a few changes that bring Dragonfly closer to the native Bluesky experience, and we’ve got more user-requested features on the way.
What’s new?
📌 Pinned feeds – You’ll now only see your pinned feeds on the Home screen, not your entire list.
💙 Longer videos – You can now upload videos up to 3 minutes and 100MB (previously limited to 1 min / 50MB).

We now support autoplay for GIFs and videos — no more tapping to play, just smooth scrolling and instant loops. Huge thanks to the user who suggested this just 4 days ago. We love the quick feedback and even quicker improvements ✨

This one’s all about refinement. We made Dragonfly lighter on your system and added a few thoughtful upgrades to keep things feeling fast and fluid.
What’s new?
🧠 Optimized performance – Dragonfly now uses significantly less CPU.
🔝 Tap to scroll up – Tap on a feed’s name to instantly jump back to the top!
🎥 Improved video behavior – You’ll now see how long a video is, and it pauses automatically when out of view.
🐛 Minor bug fixes and stability improvements.

🖼️ Drag & drop images – Drop an image directly into the post creation window for an even smoother posting experience.
🔙 Swipe to go back – Navigation just got easier! Now you can swipe to go back, just like on iPad.
🖥️ Move the window from the sidebar – A small but handy tweak: you can now grab and move the window from the sidebar, thanks to a user suggestion!
