Improve process for inserting URL
To insert a URL now requires pasting it in, pressing the space bar to insert an image and article/page title, then (usually) removing the URL you pasted in. Please do this instead: After a URL is pasted in: automatically fetch it (without requiring a space), do the insertion, then remove the pasted in URL.

Please do not auto-update the screen
It’s pretty annoying when I’m reading something and then - BAM! - my iPad screen auto updates and what I was reading is scrolled off screen. Please allow me to turn this “feature” off

Get Dfly included in the "Send To" options.
It would be nice not to have to go thru the “Copy URL, then Paste into Dfly”. So can you get Dfly added as a destination choice for “Send To”?

Please allow an option in Settings to always allow Paste (so we don’t have to allow with each paste) Please always include the first image from a pasted newspaper story (instead of just the URL, as happens with WSJ articles)

Add variety of app icons
Add some fun to dfly by letting users choose from a variety of seasonal dragon fly app icons. Let your talented customers submit icons for consideration. A rainbow dragon fly would be my request.

MacOS sharing menu integration
It would be useful, unless this is already the case but I haven't found it, to be able to right-click on an article on the web and share it directly on DragonFly in order to post it on BlueSky with that article as a reference link.

iPad: Option to show Bsky’s right-hand column in landscape view
In Bsky’s desktop web interface, the right side of the screen has a column with a search bar, a list of feeds, and trending topics. Currently, posts in Dfly look weirdly wide in landscape view (which makes it harder to screen-shot and share posts outside the network). Adding that column in—or even just squishing the whole interface a bit to open up more white space—would bring the appearance more in line with the desktop interface. (Note that the web app continues to be super unreliable on iPad.) Even better would be the ability to manually adjust column widths (Openvibes does this, a bit), but I don’t know if that’s easier or harder. Thanks, love the app!

Searching a URL to a post opens that post in Ivory. Drangonfly should support this. Also, searching a profile URL should open that profile.

Replying to something appears to speak to a random point on the timeline
If you reply it jumps around the timeline so you need to figure out where you were.

Picture viewer should have a totally black background
When I tap a photo the background shows the timeline dimmed on the background. This is very distracting. As a photographer I hate my work being displayed this way. The background should be totally black for full focus on the image. Ron

More keyboard shortcuts
I would love to see more keyboard shortcuts on MacOS. Such as Command + Enter to submit a post and Escape to close/abandon the post editor. And what about an option for adding another post to a thread, so you can just keep typing while writing a thread? Like, maybe Command + Plus Key (+) to add the next post in the thread. Thanks for all the hard work already. You’re doing great.
