Direct messages (DMs) are now available on macOS!

Here’s what you can do

💬 Chats (DMs) – Pick up where you left off in any conversation started on Bluesky. You can view and continue chats right in the app.

📥 Chat requests – Accept or reject new incoming message requests.

😂 Message reactions – React to any message with emojis, exactly like on Bluesky!

🔔 Chat push notifications – Get notified when new messages or chat requests arrive while the app is open.

🚫 Block & mute controls – Easily block, mute, unblock, or unmute users, all within the chat interface.

😊 Emoji picker for posts – Easily browse and insert emojis while writing a post.

This update is macOS only. We’re working on bringing chats to iPad soon, and sending posts via DMs is on the way too!
